Have you ever wished you could be the one dancing freely at a concert or festival? Do you wait until the dance floor is full or until you’ve consumed some form of “courage” to allow yourself to dance? If so, this workshop is for you! We will uncover and discuss what holds you back from dancing and I’ll give you tools to untether yourself from these narratives. We will explore some movements designed to help you make that move to the dancefloor easier, and then we will practice what we have learned in a safe container. Join me for a workshop that has the power to elevate your festival experience as well as your life.

High Priestess TLC
High Priestess TLC (Tara) is a visionary, who’s answering her calling to unite, connect and facilitate others’ healing, through her own experiences.
In 2020 I underwent an extreme life transformation, losing my job and dissolving a 20-year marriage, which were my identities at the time. I was completely lost and could not see a way through it. My sister (SiStar Boujee) brought me to spirituality. Through gratitude, and believing in the magic of life, I quickly found myself immersed in some of the most caring, loving and gifted healers who guided and supported me through my personal growth. Illuminating the process of revealing my personal power through accepting and developing my many gifts.
You have the power to heal yourself – We are here to show you a way
SiStar Boujee
SiStar Boujee (Amaris), aka the Mystic Stylist, is a powerful healer and transformational specialist, who shares her gifts and powers freely with all. She is a gifted shepherd through the end-of-life experience for both the person transitioning as well as their loved ones.
In 2015 I had my first Reiki experience and it launched my awakening and placed me on my fulfilling path of Purpose. I began to integrate this gift of Reiki into my hair services. Which then led me into end-of-life work by providing Reiki and haircuts on hospice patients. As this work grows so does my knowledge and involvement with the end-of-life care process. I assist in navigating all aspects, for all involved, fulfilling a role of support and guidance during an experience many find unbearable.
Integrating my path with my sisiter’s (High Priestess TLC), so began the co-creation of the Inner Center.
Now bringing my love, knowledge and gifts to many through the Inner Center, to empower and inspire others along their path of illumination.

*Basic fundamentals, technique and drum circle etiquette. We will go over hand positions, body posture, and how to hold your drum for comfort and ease when playing. We will work on our bass and tone sounds, possibly introducing the slap sound as well. Drum circle hand signals, covering tempo up and down, volume up and down, call and response, individual and sectional playing and starting and stopping as a group. We start our first warm up rhythms listening as a whole and playing to-geth-er. The 'Rocking Chair' rhythm will get us synced up and then we will divide our group into 3 teams and add 2 more rhythms to the main rhythm creating a dynamic, 3-piece polyrhythm. Watch for the switch.
Pretty cool stuff!
*The 'Boom-Boom Diggy' Boom-Boom Diggy is a fun rhythm/vocal exercise and rhythm where we emphasize the 'if you can say it, you can play it' attitude. Our Vocal patterns will match our rhythm and we will have some fun with this one, playing around with it and sharing some solo playing. *Drums Songs A drum song is something I've created for a more unique and creative drum and music experience. Basically, instead of all of us playing the same rhythm, we will individually go around the circle offering up a sound or rhythm. One at a time, we go clockwise around the circle with each person contributing their piece, adding to the collective sound. By the time we go around the circle, we will have a unique drum song instead of a unison rhythm. Creative and organic, it is different every time.
*Open Jam This is where we all get to apply wheat we've just learned and have some fun free flow fun. At the end of our regular sessions and or as a session of its own, we will have an open jam. If you got chops, bring 'em. This part is not facilitated (but may be guided). Anyone start a rhythm or even make a go at stepping in to lead the circle a bit using the hand gesture techniques covered in the beginning portion of our Playshop.
